As the Assistant Aftersales Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
- Assisting the Aftersales Manager with personnel management and service department operations
- Organising and optimising available resources to deliver exceptional customer service
- Leading by example to motivate and develop your team
- Ensuring the dealership’s aftersales operations are efficient and profitable
- Building long-term relationships with customers through excellent service
- Demonstrating technical product knowledge and effective communication
- Identifying opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction
- Supporting colleagues with knowledge, skills, and expertise to enhance business performance
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Proven experience in an automotive main dealer environment
- Strong organisational and communication skills
- Technical competence (NVQ, ATA, HFC or similar)
- Full, valid driving license with fewer than 9 penalty points
- Knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
- Self-motivation, resilience, and a genuine passion for the motor trade
- Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
