As the Assistant Aftersales Manager, your core responsibilities will include:
 

  • Assisting the Aftersales Manager with personnel management and service department operations
  • Organising and optimising available resources to deliver exceptional customer service
  • Leading by example to motivate and develop your team
  • Ensuring the dealership’s aftersales operations are efficient and profitable
  • Building long-term relationships with customers through excellent service
  • Demonstrating technical product knowledge and effective communication
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements and waste reduction
  • Supporting colleagues with knowledge, skills, and expertise to enhance business performance


The ideal candidate will possess:
 

  • Proven experience in an automotive main dealer environment
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Technical competence (NVQ, ATA, HFC or similar)
  • Full, valid driving license with fewer than 9 penalty points
  • Knowledge of Outlook, Excel and Word
  • Self-motivation, resilience, and a genuine passion for the motor trade
  • Ability to work effectively within a team and independently
