Key duties for the Aftersales Advisor include:
  • Acting as the main point of contact for customers post-sale, handling inquiries via phone, email, and written correspondence
  • Managing and resolving a wide range of post-sale issues, including warranties and service plans
  • Liaising with dealerships to investigate and resolve reported problems
  • Communicating clearly and professionally with all parties regarding case progress and outcomes
  • Reviewing diagnostic reports and discussing technical issues confidently with technicians and service advisors
  • Applying mechanical knowledge to assess faults and identify signs of wear, misuse, or age-related deterioration
  • Maintaining accurate case notes and decision records
  • Supporting the customer journey in collaboration with sales teams and providing feedback to enhance aftersales processes
  • Escalating unresolved cases to the appropriate departments following company procedures
Candidate requirements for the Aftersales Advisor role:
  • Proven experience in automotive aftersales or a dealer-facing role preferred but not essential. 
  • Good mechanical understanding of vehicles
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to challenge and negotiate confidently with customers and dealers
  • Organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Customer-focused, calm, and professional attitude
  • High integrity and sense of accountability
