Vehicle Technician - Halifax
  • Basic Salary - Up to £45,000 depending on experience
  • Monday - Friday 8-5 42.5 Hours

Our client is a successful Independent Automotive Business. They are looking to add an experienced technician or master technician to their ever-growing team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience in a similar role.
 
Roles and Responsibilities of a Vehicle Technician: 
  • Carry out complex jobs such as Cam Belts, Gear Boxes and Diagnostic work.
  • Repairing and servicing of vehicles including clutches, brakes and exhausts.
  • Supporting colleagues to carry out difficult tasks.
  • Using computer based technology to assist the diagnostic and service technicians in diagnosing electrical/mechanical and engine issues.
  • Informing customers/manufacturers if there is any further work that is required.
  • Acting as support for technicians and apprentices in the workshop as well as providing guidance.
The Successful Vehicle Technician will have:
  • A relevant formal qualification in Automotive City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3
  • Current experience as a Vehicle Technician.
  • Your own set of tools
  • A full UK driving Licence
