Vehicle Technician Needed in Manchester Location: Manchester
  • Working Hours: Flexible working hours between 8am–6pm (40 hours per week) plus 1 in 2 Saturdays paid as overtime
  • Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 basic (flexible for the right candidate, depending on experience)
Our client, a well-established independent automotive business, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician with strong diagnostic and heavier mechanical repair experience to join their workshop team. 

This is a fantastic opportunity to work on high-end and luxury vehicles within a well-equipped workshop, offering flexibility around working hours and exposure to complex technical work.

Key Responsibilities for a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out complex mechanical repairs on trade vehicles
  • Completing diagnostics, servicing and fault-finding
  • Undertaking wet belt replacements and advanced engine work
  • Working primarily on high-end and luxury vehicles (mainly Mercedes)
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship and efficiency
What We’re Looking For in a Vehicle Technician:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Service Technician
  • Level 3 qualification (or equivalent) preferred
  • Strong diagnostic ability and experience with complex repairs
  • Confidence working independently on high-end vehicles
  • Full UK driving licence
