Senior Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Milton Keynes Main Dealer
  • Position: Senior Vehicle Technician 
  • Location: Milton Keynes 
  • Salary: £35,000+
  • OTE: £46,000 (Top performers earned up to £69,000 last year)
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm
  • Overtime: 1 in 2 Saturday mornings (paid as overtime)
  • Contract: Full-time, 45 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Vehicle Technician to join a well-established main dealer workshop in the Milton Keynes area. This role is ideal for a motivated technician who takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship and outstanding customer service.

You’ll be working in a busy, professional workshop environment with access to excellent facilities, ongoing manufacturer training, and genuine career progression opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide advanced technical and diagnostic support, ensuring customer satisfaction and productivity targets are consistently met or exceeded
  • Maintain the highest level of technical knowledge and stay fully compliant with manufacturer training standards
  • Uphold company and manufacturer quality and compliance standards at all times
  • Ensure 100% adherence to vehicle health check processes
  • Support the workshop team with complex repairs and diagnostics where required
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (City & Guilds / NVQ or equivalent) – essential
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Proven experience inspecting, servicing, and repairing motor vehicles
  • MOT Tester qualification would be highly advantageous
  • Strong verbal and written English skills
  • Previous experience in a franchised dealership environment preferred (but not essential)
