  • £18,000 basic salary with uncapped annual on-target earnings around £45-60,000+ per annum.
  • 8:30am-5:30pm Mon to Fri with 1-in-2 Sat 9:00am-1:30pm.

Due to business expansion, a not-to-miss opportunity has opened for a New/Used Van Sales Executive at our client's independent commercial vehicle dealership in the Tredegar region.

Reporting to the Sales Manager and working as part of a sales team in a modern, forward-thinking working environment, as a New/Used Van Sales Executive, you will be required to sell new and used light commercial vehicles/vans, finance, warranties, add-ons, and accessories to reach and exceed targets. You will be required to keep customers informed of delivery progress and advise customers of any delays that may occur. You will be required to resolve any queries which may arise and collect payment from customers before releasing the vehicle. You must explain warranty, service arrangements, introduce the customer to the Service Department and demonstrate the vehicle's features and offer any other support that may be required. You must also proactively seek and secure repeat and additional vehicle sales using prospecting, follow-up, referral and other available methods. From this, you must update our client’s records with customer information to ensure that the database is fully and accurately maintained.

Do you need previous automotive vehicle sales experience? In short. No! 

Previous or present automotive vehicle sales experience would be highly beneficial (especially if selling light commercial vehicles/vans); however, our client is open to considering Sales Executives with a strong track record in customer-facing sales/customer service and an interest in the motor trade who are looking to undertake a new challenge in the automotive industry. Overall, you will need to have a desire to produce results, a commitment to excellence, be able to build outstanding customer relationships, and have a genuine passion to work for the company. A UK driving license with minimal points is also essential.
