Join our client's team as an MOT Technician in Braintree, Essex, where you'll play a crucial role within a reputable volume main dealership.

This MOT Technician position offers a competitive basic salary starting at £29,500 per year, with the potential to earn up to £38,000 OTE.

Working Monday to Friday from 8:30 am to 6:00 pm, with Saturdays on a rota basis (8:30 am to 1:00 pm), this is an excellent opportunity for experienced MOT Technicians seeking stability and career progression.

As an MOT Technician in this role, your main duties will include:
  • Performing routine MOT Tests on a variety of vehicles to industry standards
  • Conducting remedial work to ensure vehicles pass MOT inspections
  • Managing parts orders and liaising with team members to complete work efficiently
  • Assisting with minor servicing or repairs as required (no heavy work involved)
  • Maintaining accurate records of work completed and vehicle status
The ideal candidate for this MOT Technician role will possess:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Light Vehicle Maintenance or equivalent
  • Current MOT Licence and full UK Driving Licence
  • Previous dealership experience is highly desirable
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
