As a Fleet Prep Controller, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our clients' vehicles are ready for delivery, and our systems run smoothly. This role is split 70% vehicle preparation and working outdoors, and 30% office based.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the full vehicle preparation process – from arrival at our client's dealership to customer delivery.
- Coordinating the movement of vehicles between sites and our client's head office.
- Organising valeting and creating delivery packs for new vehicles.
- Supporting fleet bookings and keeping internal systems updated.
- Maintaining accurate records and updating spreadsheets regularly.
- Prioritising and passing job cards to the workshop in the correct order.
- Managing delivery notes and ensuring all reporting is up to date.
- Providing excellent communication and support to both colleagues and external partners.
- Answering incoming calls and emails, and assisting the wider office team when needed.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities.
- A proactive approach to meeting deadlines and targets.
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
- Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
- A professional and positive attitude.
- UK driving licence with minimal points.
- Some automotive experience would be highly beneficial, but is non-essential.
