My client is a highly successful main dealership located in Leicester. They are now looking to take on a Senior / Diagnostic Technician to join their modern and well-kept workshop. They offer excellent training opportunities, such as EV training. They also offer salary/role progression and excellent job security.

Diagnostic Technician Responsibilities: 
  • General maintenance, repairs, and servicing
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues efficiently and effectively
  • Perform any necessary repairs or services, preventative and reactive repairs as per the customer's request. 
  • Work efficiently, with a keen eye for detail, updating check list in line with dealership standards.
  • Liaise with the Service Department regarding expected completion times.
  • Being a team player and offering assistance in busy times 
Ideal candidates:
  • Qualified Technician Level 3.
  • Proven experience working within a workshop as a Technician.
  • Ideally, have an MOT License (not required)
  • Strong diagnostic skills ideally backed by manufacturer accreditation.
  • Ability to work efficiently as part of a team and independently
