  • Salary: £28,000 – £35,000 per annum
  • Hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00 + 1 in 3 Saturday mornings
  • Contract: Full-time, Permanent
Our client, a leading specialist in campervan conversions and vehicle refurbishment, is seeking an experienced Paint Prepper to join their skilled workshop team. This hands-on role focuses on preparing vehicles for high-quality paintwork, ensuring surfaces are primed, filled, and finished to an exceptional standard.

Key Responsibilities as a Paint Prepper:
  • Prepare vehicle panels for painting, including sanding, masking, filling, and priming
  • Ensure all prep work meets manufacturer and industry standards
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe workspace
  • Collaborate with painters and other workshop staff to meet deadlines
  • Contribute to maintaining high levels of workmanship and quality
Requirements needed for the Paint Prepper role:
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in paint preparation in an automotive or specialist bodyshop environment
  • Knowledge of sanding, filling, masking, and priming techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and high standards of workmanship
  • Good team player with reliable work ethic
