  • Position: Senior Vehicle Technician 
  • Location: Corby 
  • Basic Salary: Up to £40,000 + Bonus
  • OTE: £45,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday
  • 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings
  • Manufacturer training and development 
An established main dealer operation in the Corby area is seeking an experienced Senior Technician to join their workshop team.

This is a hands-on role suited to a true problem solver, someone confident stripping and rebuilding engines and gearboxes, carrying out complex diagnostics, and supporting the wider workshop team with technical expertise.

Responsibilities:
  • Senior technician on the workshop floor 
  • Engine removals and rebuilds
  • Gearbox strip and rebuild work
  • Advanced electrical diagnostics and fault finding
  • Handling technical support requests
  • Supporting and mentoring junior technicians where required
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair is essential.
  • Strong all-round mechanical ability
  • Proven experience with engine and gearbox rebuilds
  • Confident with electrical diagnostics and problem solving
  • Able to work closely with management and manufacturers
  • MOT licence preferred (training provided if required)
