Pay: £40,000 
Hours: 45 Hours per week Monday - Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota - our client is happy to consider flexible working hours to suit your family life

Duties of the Vehicle Technician include:

  • Conducting comprehensive vehicle diagnostics and repairs
  • Servicing cars to manufacturer standards
  • Carrying out vehicle inspections and MOT tests (where qualified)
  • Ensuring all work is completed efficiently and to the highest standards
  • Maintaining comprehensive records of work completed
  • Providing excellent customer service and rapport
  • Keeping up-to-date with technical advancements and industry regulations
Candidate criteria for the Vehicle Technician role:

  • Full valid driving licence
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Automotive Technology, City & Guilds or equivalent
  • Previous experience as an automotive technician in a dealership environment
  • MOT testing qualification (desirable)
  • Ability to work overtime at short notice when required
  • Excellent attention to detail and technical knowledge
  • Ability to uphold high standards of customer service and product quality
