Pay: £30,000 - £40,000 Basic DOE 
Hours: 8am - 5pm Monday - Friday with 1 in 2 Saturday mornings on a rota

Are you a skilled Vehicle Technician seeking a rewarding opportunity in Wimbledon? We are currently recruiting on behalf of a reputable used car dealership in Tooting to find a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their busy workshop.   • Competitive basic salary of up to £40,000 per annum depending on experience
  • 8 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday working hours
  • Alternating Saturday mornings on a rota basis (8 am to 2 pm)

Key duties of the Vehicle Technician role include:

  • Performing PDI (Pre-Delivery Inspections) and technical work independently
  • Conducting service and repair work on a variety of vehicles

  • Ensuring all work complies with safety and manufacturer standards
  • Maintaining accurate documentation of work completed
  • Supporting the workshop team to deliver high standards of customer service
Candidate requirements for this Vehicle Technician position:

  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or Motor Mechanic
  • Skilled in PDI work, servicing, and repairs with a focus on quality
  • Strong knowledge of fast fit techniques and procedures
  • Independent worker with good attention to detail
  • Able to work confidently on a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Relevant qualifications in automotive engineering or equivalent
