- Perform routine inspections and comprehensive maintenance on a diverse fleet of vehicles
- Carry out repairs including brake replacements, engine diagnostics, oil changes, and electrical system faults.
- Use diagnostic tools such as VAGCom, ODIS, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and ADAS calibration equipment.
- Read and interpret technical manuals, wiring diagrams, and schematics accurately
- Complete job cards meticulously and communicate repair progress with service advisors
- Conduct electrical wiring troubleshooting and repairs using dealer-specific information
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest safety and quality standards
- Contribute to workshop efficiency by collaborating with team members and maintaining workshop order
- Assist with workshop duties outside of repairs to support ongoing business growth
- Participate in company social media content creation as required
- Proven mechanical knowledge with the ability to diagnose and repair vehicle systems
- Experience with vehicle maintenance procedures including engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical components.
- Proficiency in using diagnostic equipment such as VAGCOM, ODIS, and electrical testing devices.
- Familiarity with vehicle schematics and technical manuals
- Strong problem-solving skills and excellent attention to detail
- Good communication skills to collaborate effectively within a team and to customers about the work done on their cars
- A proactive approach with high-quality workmanship standards
- Experience working on Volkswagen group vehicles is preferred but not essential
- Formal or in-house training in diagnostic procedures and vehicle repairs will be provided
