Panel Beater – Dartford, Kent Join a Family-Run, Fleet Crash Repair Workshop Business
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 7am to 4pm (40 hours per week). No weekend work.
  • Pay: £20 to £24 per hour DOE plus quarterly bonus
  • OTE: Up to £60,000 per annum with overtime and bonuses
Are you an experienced Panel Beater seeking a new opportunity in Dartford, Kent? We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable, family-run accident repair centre that values skilled craftsmanship, integrity, and team-oriented working environments. This is an excellent chance for a dedicated Panel Beater to join a busy workshop committed to delivering top-quality vehicle repairs.

As a Panel Beater, you will be pivotal in restoring a wide range of vehicles to their pre-accident condition. Your expertise will ensure high standards of repair work on various makes and models.

Other Regular Duties of this Panel Beater role include: 
  • Removing, repairing, and replacing damaged body panels
  • Realigning chassis and structural components using industry-standard jig work
  • Performing welding procedures, with necessary qualifications
  • Filling, sanding, and finishing panels to achieve a flawless finish
  • Conducting thorough quality checks before vehicle handover
  • You will work closely within a collaborative team of experienced technicians committed to excellence and customer satisfaction.
Requirements for this Panel Beater position:
  • Proven experience as a Panel Beater in crash or accident repair workshops
  • Strong knowledge of body repair techniques and welding, with relevant qualifications
  • Experience using panel jig systems, welding machines, and filler application
  • High attention to detail and a commitment to quality workmanship
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure and meet deadlines
  • NVQ/IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Body Repair (or equivalent) is preferred but not essential
