Mobile HGV Trailer Technician Required in Coventry
  • Salary: Up to £44,000 basic + overtime options
  • Hours: Monday to Friday, 45 hours per week

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician to join a leading national commercial vehicle services company. This position offers a competitive salary, excellent benefits, and the chance to work independently while supporting clients across the Coventry area.

As a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing faults on trailers, carrying out MOT prep, and ensuring all work meets high safety and compliance standards. You will be provided with a fully equipped company van and fuel card to support your work on-site with customers.

Key Responsibilities as a Mobile HGV Trailer Technician:
  • Service, repair, and maintain trailers, including tail lifts, curtain siders, and more.
  • Carry out fault diagnosis and complete necessary repairs efficiently.
  • Prepare trailers for MOT inspections.
  • Ensure all work meets health & safety regulations.
  • Keep accurate records and report defects as required.

Requirements of the Mobile HGV Trailer Technician: 
  • Experience as a Trailer or HGV Technician is essential.
  • Knowledge of tail lifts, curtain siders, and trailer repairs.
  • HGV driving licence (desirable but not essential).
  • Relevant Level 2/3 qualification (preferred but not essential).
  • Strong time management and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
