  • Salary: Negotiable starting salary with performance-related bonuses providing roughly £500-600 per month.
  • Hours: 42.5-hour week, Monday to Friday 8:00am-5:00pm/8:30am-5:30pm with 1 in 2 Saturdays 8:00am-1:00pm.
Our client, a leading and growing motor factor with close to 40 sites across the UK, requires an experienced and professional Branch Manager to join their Stroud centre. 

Reporting to the Regional Manager and responsible for 6 members of staff, including sales, warehouse, and drivers, your key responsibilities shall include: 
  • Overseeing a team of 6 members of staff, including both sales, warehouse, and driver staff.
  • Achieving branch sales, margin, and targets.
  • Ensuring first-class service to all customers.
  • Driving the branch team, focusing on great customer service and communication whilst achieving sales and promotional targets.
  • Manage and control the branch and running costs.
  • Manage stock control, including stock taking and adjustments.
  • Manage cash handling and control of specific customer accounts.
  • Support the organisation’s senior management in implementing and maintaining policies and procedures.
  • Communication to your team, key aims and objectives.
  • Responsibility for maintaining health and safety within your depot.
To be eligible, you will ideally live within an easily commutable distance of Stroud. You will need to hold recent successful automotive vehicle parts experience at a managerial/supervisory level, ideally working within a similar form of telesales or motor trade parts. Knowledge of the local areas and customer base would be a desired but is not essential. IT literacy and a full UK driving license with minimal points are essential.

Overall, you will be able to manage and motivate a team to achieve objectives, be a strong communicator capable of building and maintaining customer relationships, be methodical and organised with your workload, and have a can-do attitude with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
