Duties of a Service Technician:
  • Perform vehicle repairs and servicing to manufacturer standards
  • Use diagnostic equipment to identify and resolve faults efficiently
  • Carry out MOT repairs and assessments
  • Fit tyres, brakes, exhausts, batteries, suspension parts, and other mechanical components
  • Assist with fast-fit services, including wheel alignments and tyre fitting
  • Complete accurate repair records and ensure work adheres to health and safety regulations
  • Advise customers on vehicle maintenance needs and future repairs
What our client expects of their Service Technician:
  • NVQ Level 3 or equivalent automotive qualification
  • Previous experience as a Service Technician or in a similar role
  • Willingness to learn new skills and stay updated with current technologies
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to work under pressure
  • Good team player with excellent customer service skills
  • Full UK driving licence is essential
  • Experience with diagnostic equipment is highly desirable
