We are seeking a skilled and experienced Vehicle Technician to join our client's dynamic team at their state-of-the-art workshop in Maldon, Essex. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to enhance their career within a modern facility that boasts recent upgrades and extensive on-site services.

What's On Offer?
  • Competitive basic salary up to £40,000 per annum
  • Standard company pension scheme
  • 20 days holiday entitlement, rising to 22 days with optional Saturday work plus bank holidays
  • £100 per month fuel allowance
  • Optional overtime on Saturdays at time and a half
Your key duties as a Vehicle Technician will include:
  • Servicing and repairing vehicles, including brakes, tyres, suspension, and general maintenance
  • Conducting sales preps, cambelt replacements, and minor diagnostics
  • Providing high-quality workmanship within a busy workshop environment
  • Working on both cars and light commercial vehicles (note: no MOTs are carried out here)
  • Maintaining a professional and efficient workflow to meet customer standards
Requirements needed for the Vehicle Technician role:
  • Level 2 or 3 qualification in vehicle maintenance or equivalent experience
  • Proven experience in servicing, brakes, tyres, suspension work and sales prep
  • Full UK manual driving license
  • A motivated individual with a strong work ethic and attention to detail
  • (Candidates with extensive experience but no formal qualifications will also be considered)
