Key Responsibilities for the Classic Car Restoration Technician role:
- Carry out mechanical, electrical, and trim work on a variety of classic and vintage vehicles.
- Perform full and partial restorations, including engine and gearbox rebuilds.
- Conduct diagnostic testing and fault finding on classic car systems.
- Carry out servicing, repairs, and general maintenance while ensuring the highest levels of workmanship.
- Maintain attention to detail and uphold the authenticity of classic vehicle components and engineering.
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest industry standards, preserving originality and enhancing vehicle longevity.
- Previous experience working on classic and vintage cars is highly beneficial.
- Strong mechanical and electrical knowledge, ideally with experience in restoration projects.
- A passion for classic cars and a keen eye for detail.
- Ability to fabricate and repair classic car components where necessary.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work on bespoke engineering challenges.
- Strong work ethic, reliability, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
