  • Salary: Basic Salary of £40,000 + OTE £60,000

Are you an experienced Roadside Recovery Technician seeking a challenging role in the Horsham area? Our client is currently recruiting for a dedicated Roadside Recovery Technician to join their patrol team, providing essential roadside assistance services across Horsham and West Sussex. If you are passionate about vehicle recovery, diagnostics, and delivering excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

Duties of the Roadside Vehicle Technician:
  • Responding to roadside recovery calls across Horsham and surrounding areas
  • Conducting diagnostics such as tyre changes, dead battery replacements, and alternator issues
  • Responding swiftly to recovered vehicles and assisting customers promptly
  • Recovering vehicles to local garages if necessary
  • Providing excellent customer service whilst working roadside, requiring professionalism and resilience
  • Managing a varied shift pattern including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
Requirements of the Roadside Vehicle Technician:
  • Experience in roadside assistance, recovery, or similar vehicle technician roles
  • Level 2 qualified as a Vehicle Technician minimum 
  • Strong diagnostic skills, including tyre repairs, battery replacements, and fault detection
  • Good customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and professional under pressure
  • Ability to work on roadside in all weather conditions
  • Reliable, flexible, and able to work various shifts, including weekends if required
  • Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
