Our client is seeking a skilled and reliable Vehicle Technician to join their team, working on a diverse mix of vehicles including vans and cars. This is an exciting opportunity for experienced technicians who are eager to develop their diagnostic skills or demonstrate their expertise in general servicing.
What's On Offer?
- Competitive basic salary of £35,000 to £45,000 depending on experience
- Flexibility with start times, typically between 8am and 9am, for a standard 8-hour working day
- One in four Saturdays working from 9am to 1pm, with the option of overtime pay or time off in lieu
- Supportive working environment with opportunities for skill development in diagnostics and vehicle servicing
- Conduct vehicle diagnostics and repairs, ensuring excellent standards of workmanship
- Perform general servicing and maintenance on a wide range of vehicles, predominantly vans and cars
- Accurately diagnose issues and communicate findings effectively to customers
- Adhere to health and safety protocols and keep precise service records
- Manage workload efficiently to meet deadlines and customer expectations
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician or equivalent role
- Strong diagnostic capabilities are preferred but not essential; open to qualified general service technicians
- Experience working on vans as well as cars is highly desirable
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Good attention to detail and problem-solving skills
