Vehicle Technician – Northampton Main Dealer Opportunity
  • Position: Vehicle Technician 
  • Location: North Northamptonshire 
  • Basic Salary: Up to £40,000 + Bonus (OTE £42,000)
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (No Weekends)   
Our client, a well-established and respected family-run automotive group with multiple sites across Northamptonshire, is continuing its growth following the recent acquisition of a new franchise. As a result, they are looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their successful team.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a business known for its high standards, strong team culture, and commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities:
  • Working within a modern workshop environment, you will be responsible for:
  • Servicing, maintenance, and repair of a variety of vehicle makes and models
  • Carrying out diagnostics using modern equipment
  • Repairing and replacing key components including brakes, suspension, and transmission systems
  • Ensuring all work is completed to manufacturer and workshop standards
  • Maintaining accurate job records and documentation
Requirements:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician within a workshop environment
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Ability to carry out a wide range of repairs and maintenance work
  • Experience using modern diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Team player with a professional and reliable approach
  • NVQ Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair (or equivalent) preferred
Benefits:
  • Basic salary up to £40,000 depending on experience
  • Bonus scheme with OTE of £42,000
