Pay: £30,000 - £40,500 Basic Per Annum + overtime

Are you an experienced or enthusiastic about Campervan Conversions, Upgrades, Maintenance and Repairs, Engine conversions, Welding, Electrics, Carpentry and/or Fabricating? Our client is seeking versatile professionals to join their workshop, specialising in building, maintaining and repairing campervans and motorhomes. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a growing Automotive repair and manufacturing business in Wallington, Surrey where you can utilise and develop your skills in a dynamic environment that values craftsmanship, attention to detail, and independence.

Duties
- Building and maintaining campervans, potentially handling both mechanical and leisure conversion aspects of full in-house builds, as well as customer repair and upgrade work
- Mechanical work including engine conversions, brake systems, drivetrain and general servicing
- Joinery and cabinetry work for custom interior fit-outs
- Working with 12V electrical systems, including wiring and electrical installation
- Operating power tools and equipment efficiently and safely
- Depending on experience, fabricating and welding aluminium and steel components for bespoke camper projects
- Ensuring attention to detail to build high-quality, long-lasting conversions
Candidate spec
- At least 2 years of relevant trade experience, ideally within campervan or motorhome conversions
- Skilled in using power tools (essential), and in welding and fabrication equipment (preferable)
- Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision
- Proficiency in 12V electrical systems and mechanical tasks
- Versatile with a keen eye for detail and quality craftsmanship
- Enthusiast or experience working with classic or modern campervans, Motorhomes, or VW conversions is preferred
- Reliable, hardworking, and able to interpret instructions accurately
