- Carry out safe dismantling and reassembly of damaged vehicles in line with repair estimates and manufacturer guidelines
- Refit and reconnect electrical, mechanical, and trim components with precision and care
- Support the inspection process by identifying additional damage or parts requirements during dismantling or repair stages
- Ensure all vehicle repairs meet high technical and cosmetic standards
- Check parts availability, match repairs accurately to estimates, and handle unused components correctly
- Conduct quality checks and safety tests to ensure vehicle integrity before handover
- Maintain a clean and organised working environment adhering to health and safety standards
- Identify and report any discrepancies or additional repair needs during the process
- Support the workshop team to maintain efficiency and meet deadlines
- Follow all health and safety policies, use PPE correctly, and ensure safe working practices at all times
- Minimum of three years’ experience in vehicle dismantling and reassembly within an accident repair environment
- Good understanding of mechanical, electrical, and trim components
- Ability to interpret repair methods, estimates, and technical instructions
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Good awareness of health and safety responsibilities in the workshop
- IMI accreditation in MET is highly desirable
- Experience in bodyshops or accident repair centres is advantageous
- Familiarity with modern vehicle systems and manufacturer repair procedures is preferred
