We are currently recruiting for a skilled Assistant Service Centre Manager to join a reputable site in Chorley. Duties:
  • Assist in managing day-to-day workshop operations ensuring efficiency and productivity
  • Supervise technician activities including PDI, servicing, and diagnostics
  • Control workshop workflow and delegate tasks appropriately
  • Price jobs accurately and effectively to maintain profitability
  • Take on assistant manager responsibilities, supporting the Service Centre Manager
  • Handle keyholder responsibilities including alarm security and access control
  • Contribute to recruitment efforts to build a skilled and motivated team
  • Drive new business and enhance customer satisfaction levels
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working within an automotive service environment, ideally in a supervisory or assistant managerial role
  • Strong understanding of workshop processes, diagnostics, and vehicle repairs
  • Excellent organisational and leadership skills with the ability to manage a busy workshop
  • Good communication skills to liaise effectively with team members and customers
  • Flexible attitude to working hours, with the ability to cover rota shifts as needed
  • Enthusiastic with a proactive approach to improving workshop performance
