Our client, a well-established and reputable dealership in Taunton, is seeking a dedicated Service Advisor to join their dynamic team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a skilled individual to work within a supportive environment, delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the smooth running of the workshop.

Duties of the Service Advisor:
  • Manage workshop resources efficiently to ensure timely vehicle servicing and repairs
  • Liaise effectively between the customer and workshop team to minimise vehicle downtime
  • Deliver a high standard of customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction at all times
  • Keep customers fully informed of costs, repairs, and future service needs
  • Accurately create job cards with detailed vehicle and customer information
  • Handle incoming bookings, customer enquiries, and address any concerns professionally
  • Maintain and update reporting systems, including daily operating controls and dealer management systems
  • Support warranty claim documentation and submissions with accuracy
  • Work closely with the Service Manager to review performance and suggest continuous improvements
Requirements of the Service Advisor:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within the motor trade is highly preferred
  • Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills
  • Good organisational and administrative abilities
  • Technical product knowledge within the automotive sector
  • Proficient IT skills and experience with dealer management systems
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure and manage priorities
