Vehicle Technician required in Exeter
  • Multi-site Independent Garage
  • Basic salary of up to £40k DOE, OTE of up to £42k
  • Monday to Friday with optional Saturday overtime
We are currently seeking a skilled and dedicated Vehicle Technician to join a well-established dealership located in Exeter, Devon. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional looking to work in a busy, reputable workshop with scope for professional development and a competitive salary.

The successful Vehicle Technician will play a vital part in maintaining a high standard of vehicle repairs and servicing, supporting the ongoing growth of the workshop team. If you are a motivated individual with a passion for the automotive industry, this could be the perfect position for you.

Duties of a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carrying out vehicle diagnostics and repairs across a variety of makes and models
  • Performing servicing, MOTs, and warranty work
  • Replacing timing belts, clutches, and other vehicle components
  • Plus diagnostics
  • Conducting vehicle inspections and checks
  • Ensuring all work complies with industry standards and company policies
Requirements that the Vehicle Technician will need:
  • Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician
  • Ideally qualified to Level 3 NVQ or equivalent
  • Strong diagnostic skills are advantageous but not strictly essential;  experienced service technicians are also encouraged to apply
  • Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
  • Full UK driving licence
  • A proactive attitude to learning and professional growth
  • Willingness to undertake training programmes, including air conditioning and diagnostics courses
