Our client is recruiting a dedicated Roadside Recovery Technician to join their active patrol department. This is an excellent opportunity to work with a dynamic team, delivering vital roadside assistance services across Horsham and West Sussex. - Working hours of 40 hours per week, with shifts scheduled up to 12 months in advance, including weekends on a rota basis
- Responding to roadside recovery calls across Horsham and surrounding areas
- Conducting diagnostics such as tyre replacements, dead battery fixes, and alternator repairs to help get customers back on the road
- Recovering vehicles to local garages when repairs are necessary
- Providing excellent customer service whilst working roadside, maintaining professionalism and resilience
- Managing a shift pattern that may include early mornings, evenings, and weekends, with predictable rota schedules
- Experience in roadside assistance, vehicle recovery or similar roles
- Level 2 qualification as a Vehicle Technician or equivalent
- Strong diagnostic skills and experience with tyre repairs, battery replacements, and fault detection
- Resilient professional capable of working in challenging roadside conditions
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to remain calm and polite under pressure
- Reliable and flexible, with the ability to work various shifts, including weekends if required
- Full UK driving licence with a clean driving record
