Night Shift HGV Technician vacancy 
  • Location: Kidderminster
  • Salary: £45,000
  • Overtime: Time and a Half
  • Hours: Monday to Thursday – 21:30 – 08:00
An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Night Shift Technician to join a professional HGV workshop team in Kidderminster. This role would suit a qualified technician with strong diagnostic and repair skills who takes pride in delivering safe, high-quality workmanship and enjoys working as part of a supportive team environment.

What you’ll be doing:
  • Carrying out major and minor vehicle repairs
  • Completing routine inspections and preventative maintenance
  • Diagnosing faults and planning vehicle repairs
  • Maintaining accurate workshop and repair records
  • Supporting workshop cleanliness and stock control
  • Completing warranty paperwork and relevant documentation
  • Assisting with roadside breakdown support when required
  • Supporting and mentoring trainees within the workshop
What we’re looking for:
  • Level 3 qualification in HGV Vehicle Repair & Maintenance (NVQ, IMI or City & Guilds)
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability
  • Experience carrying out HGV repairs and servicing
  • Knowledge of DVSA standards and compliance requirements
  • Full UK driving licence for relevant vehicle classes
  • A team-focused attitude with strong attention to detail
