Warranty and Parts Advisor opportunity in North Bristol
  • Salary: Between £28-35,000 per annum, pending experience. 
  • Hours: 42.5-hour week. 8:00am-5:00pm Monday to Friday.
Our client, an independent franchise-approved car dealership situated in the North Bristol region, is currently looking to recruit a Parts/Warranty Administrator to join their business.Reporting to the Aftersales Manager and working as a Parts/Warranty Administrator, you will perform a 50/50 split role covering both parts and warranty. 

Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Preparing all warranty claims for submission to manufacturers for payment.
  • Checking and clearing weekly statements and querying any overdue claims not paid or any discrepancies in payments.
  • Ensuring all documentation falls in line with manufacturers' guidelines.
  • Preparing invoices and warranty claims accurately by manufacturers' and departmental standards.
  • Ensuring repair order documentation is fully and correctly completed.
  • Ensuring all policy claims are quickly dealt with, and the customer reimbursements are correct.
  • Maintaining high standards of control over displaced material returned to manufacturers.
  • Accurately reconciling warranty credits and correctly administering discrepancies.
  • Correctly identifying and promptly picking and supplying parts to our clients’ workshop team to carry out vehicle repairs.
  • Helping carry out parts stock control and audits.
  • Handling trade/retail customers regarding any parts inquiries.
To be eligible, previous experience working with automotive parts or handling warranty claims would be highly advantageous, but is non-essential provided you have strong automotive aftersales experience in a similar customer service service/administration orientated role. Overall, you will need to have strong clerical/data entry skills, a keen eye for detail, excellent organisational skills, and a customer-first mindset, whilst being able to work collaboratively across departments. Experience with the Pinnacle dealer management system would be beneficial, but is also non-essential. A UK driving licence with minimal points is a requirement.
