Exciting Opportunity for a Mobile Vehicle Technician in Manchester

Our client, a well-respected vehicle maintenance specialist, is currently seeking an experienced Mobile Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team in Manchester. This position offers a fantastic chance to utilise your skills in a mobile service environment, providing on-site fleet maintenance and repairs across the Greater Manchester area.

As a Mobile Vehicle Technician, you will be responsible for carrying out repairs, diagnostics, and specialist DPF work on a variety of vehicles, ensuring they perform at optimal levels. Duties of the Mobile Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct on-site fleet repairs, maintenance, and DPF cleaning to high standards
  • Perform inspections, servicing, and diagnosis of mechanical and electrical faults
  • Use hand and power tools effectively for repairs and installations
  • Maintain accurate and detailed service records for all work carried out
  • Support team colleagues and share technical expertise
  • Follow all health and safety procedures and guidelines
  • Assist in mentoring junior technicians where necessary
Requirements that the Mobile Vehicle Technician will need:
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in vehicle diagnostics and repair within the motor trade
  • Proven expertise in fleet maintenance and DPF cleaning processes
  • Strong mechanical skills and ability to work independently
  • High attention to detail with excellent problem-solving capabilities
  • Reliable, trustworthy, and personable with a positive attitude
  • Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points
