We are currently recruiting for a Workshop Controller (ARC/Bodyshop) on behalf of a top-tier employer based in Blackburn. As a Bodyshop Workshop Controller, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bodyshop, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency. Duties:
  • Organising the bodyshop operations by managing the status of each repair job
  • Conducting daily progress meetings with technicians and support staff
  • Ensuring all equipment and tools are maintained and in good working order
  • Managing waste materials and utilities, maintaining a secure workshop environment
  • Overseeing all shop floor procedures and ensuring accurate completion of job cards
  • Liaising with technicians and management regarding quality issues and customer updates
  • Supporting the team to meet the highest standards of technical quality and customer service
Requirements:
  • Qualified to NVQ Level 3, City & Guilds, or ATA recognised standards in vehicle body repairs
  • Proven experience as a Bodyshop Controller, Workshop Manager, or Quality Controller within a bodyshop environment
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple repairs efficiently
  • Knowledge of vehicle repair processes and quality standards
  • Full UK/EU Driving Licence
  • A proactive, hands-on approach and the ability to motivate a team
  • Committed to delivering outstanding customer service
