Duties of a Service Advisor:
- Greeting customers and managing vehicle check-in and check-out processes
- Allocating loan vehicles and ensuring vehicle documentation is accurately processed in the dealer management system
- Managing the progress of all service jobs and liaising with technicians to ensure timely completion
- Maintaining ongoing communication with customers during service to keep them informed
- Providing a comprehensive explanation of work completed and recommending further services when appropriate
Candidate requirements:
- Previous experience in a Service Advisor role within a franchise dealership or similar environment is advantageous
- Strong customer service skills with a professional and friendly manner
- Organisation skills to manage multiple jobs simultaneously and prioritise effectively
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written
- Full UK driving license is essential
- Ability to work well within a team and demonstrate a proactive attitude
