HGV Technician Vacancy – Bedford
  • Salary: Up to £23 per hour dependent upon experience / qualifications
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 6:00am - 2:30pm / 2:30pm - 11:00pm
  • Alternating Saturdays paid at 1.5x

Responsibilities of the HGV Technician:
  • Carry out service, maintenance, and repair work on HGVs to the highest standards
  • Diagnose and rectify vehicle faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Perform safety inspections, MOT preparation, and routine maintenance
  • Ensure all work is completed efficiently, safely, and in line with manufacturer standards
  • Maintain a clean and organised working environment
Requirements of the HGV Technician:
  • Fully qualified HGV Technician (City & Guilds / NVQ Level 3 or equivalent)
  • Experience working with HGVs or commercial vehicles
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills
  • A team player with a proactive attitude
  • Valid UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential
