Vehicle Technician Vacancy - Northampton Main Dealer 
  • Position: Vehicle Technician 
  • Location: Northampton
  • Basic Salary: £32,000 - £45,000 + Bonus
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:30pm 
  • 1 in 3 Saturday Mornings 
  • Prestige manufacturer
Our client is a highly reputable prestige main dealership based in Northampton and is currently looking to recruit a Vehicle Technician to join their established workshop team.

They are happy to consider technicians of all levels, from Service Technician through to Master Technician, with salary and package reflecting experience and skill level.

Vehicle Technician Responsibilities:
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on customer vehicles
  • Accurately diagnose and resolve mechanical and electrical faults
  • Complete preventative and reactive repairs to manufacturer and dealership standards
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records using workshop checklists
  • Liaise with the Service Department regarding repair times and work progress
  • Work efficiently while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
  • Support colleagues and assist during busy periods where required
Qualifications and Skills required:
  • NVQ Level 3 / City & Guilds in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a qualified Technician within a main dealership environment
  • EV qualifications are desirable but not essential
  • MOT Licence preferred but not required
  • Own set of tools
  • Full UK driving licence
