Location: Bromsgrove
Salary: Circa £40,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm (No weekends)
Holiday: 28 days including bank holidays
About the Role Our client, a busy and well-established independent garage in Bromsgrove, is looking to recruit an experienced MOT Tester to join their professional workshop team. Operating with a modern 10-ramp facility, this is an excellent opportunity for a qualified tester seeking a stable Monday–Friday role with no weekend work.
You will be responsible for carrying out MOT tests to DVSA standards while supporting general workshop duties when required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out Class 4 MOT tests in line with DVSA regulations
- Ensure all MOT documentation is completed accurately and compliantly
- Identify and report vehicle defects clearly
- Support the workshop with servicing and light repairs when required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised working environment
- Deliver high standards of workmanship and professionalism
- Valid MOT Tester licence (essential)
- Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance (essential)
- Previous experience within an independent garage or similar workshop
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Good team player with a positive attitude
- Full UK driving licence
- Salary circa £40,000 per year
- Monday to Friday working only – no weekends
- 28 days holiday including bank holidays
