We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable employer for a skilled MET Technician to join their team in Finchley. Duties:
  • Carrying out mechanical repairs, suspension work, and vehicle assessments to the highest standards
  • Diagnosing and repairing issues related to vehicle suspension, steering geometry, and alignment
  • Working with plastic repairs, glazing, air conditioning system evacuation and recharge
  • Conducting vehicle inspections to identify additional damage and ensure quality refit in partnership with repair consultants
  • Using relevant mechanical and suspension qualifications to deliver precise and efficient repairs
  • Maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and customer satisfaction throughout every job
Employee specification:
  • Proven experience as a MET Technician or Auto Electrician within the motor trade
  • Working knowledge of vehicle mechanical and suspension repairs
  • Relevant mechanical and suspension qualifications, ideally ATA MET accreditation
  • LCV experience is desirable
  • Knowledge of steering geometry alignment and adjustment techniques
  • Experience working with plastic repairs, glazing, and air conditioning recharges
  • Strong attention to detail and a committed team player
