Vehicle Technician Opportunity
  • Location: Northampton
  • Basic Salary: £33,650 + bonus
  • OTE: £39,500
  • 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday only
  • Overtime available on Saturdays 
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Vehicle Technician to join a modern and busy main dealership in Northampton. This position offers excellent earning potential, ongoing manufacturer training and the chance to work within a professional workshop environment equipped with the latest tools and technology.

The successful individual will join a high-performing aftersales team where quality, efficiency and teamwork are valued. This is an ideal role for a technician looking to further develop their skills and progress their career within a stable and forward-thinking business.

Responsibilities:
  • Carrying out servicing, maintenance and repair work to manufacturer standards
  • Diagnosing faults using modern diagnostic equipment
  • Completing warranty repairs and general mechanical work
  • Performing vehicle health checks and identifying additional work where required
  • Completing job cards and workshop documentation accurately
  • Maintaining high standards of workmanship, productivity and safety
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualified Vehicle Technician (IMI, NVQ, City & Guilds or equivalent)
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician in a workshop environment
  • Strong mechanical and diagnostic abilities
  • MOT Licence preferred but not essential
  • A positive attitude with strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a team
