Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester Required in Southampton, Hampshire

  • Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00,  Only 6 Saturdays per Year!!! - 08:00 - 13:00 Saturday Mornings  - Great Work Life Balance
  • Excellent Bonus Structure – Team Average £500 Bonus per month!

Our Client, a Well-known Dealership, requires a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester to work within their busy Service Department in the Southampton, Hampshire area.

Our client represents a well-respected brand, with great product, a strong market share and a plentiful stock featuring a wide range of vehicles.

The Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester will have skills in all aspects of vehicle mechanics, repairs and servicing including, but not limited to, diagnostics and electronics. You'll be highly motivated and will be able to work with a degree of flexibility according to the needs of their team.

Our client is offering the successful Vehicle Technician / MOT Testers:

  • Salary Offered – From £35,000 - Negotiable on experience - Basic salary + bonus - OTE £40,000
  • Hours: Monday - Friday 08:00 – 17:00 – (Only 6 Saturday Mornings per Year!!!)

Duties of a Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester with our Client:

  • Carrying out service checks.
  • Good use of diagnostics.
  • Repair work.
  • You must have customer service and communication skills
  • Ensure the company image of professionalism and quality of service is always maintained.
  • Carry out other duties as requested.
  • Carrying out all aspects of wheel alignment.

What our client expects of their Vehicle Technician / MOT Testers:

  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Have a positive, team-orientated attitude
  • Motivated with a desire to enhance their knowledge.
  • Will need to be NVQ Level 3 or NVQ Level 2 with strong experience 
  • Maintaining the workshop to a high standard.
  • Ensuring adequate maintenance of tools, equipment, and other materials in the Workshop
  • MOT License essential
