Our client, a reputable and well-established dealership in Southampton, Hampshire, is seeking a dedicated Vehicle Technician to join their dynamic team. Duties of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Conduct a wide range of complex diagnostics, repairs, and warranty work
  • Service electric and hybrid vehicles safely and efficiently, in line with manufacturer standards
  • Use diagnostic tools and software to identify and resolve challenging issues
  • Complete hydraulic repairs and other vehicle maintenance tasks
  • Assist and mentor Apprentice Technicians to develop their skills
  • Maintain high safety and quality standards in line with company policies
Requirements of the Diagnostic Vehicle Technician:
  • Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
  • Recognised Diagnostic Qualification is essential
  • Previous experience working as a Vehicle Technician or in a similar workshop environment
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Willingness to ongoing training, especially for electric and hybrid vehicle technology
  • A positive attitude and a commitment to delivering excellent customer service
  • Experience working in a main dealer or fast-paced workshop is preferred, but applications from those with relevant brand qualifications will also be considered
