  • Position: Vehicle Technician 
  • Location: Luton
  • Basic Salary: £32,500 - £45,000 + Bonus 
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm
  • 1 in 3 Saturdays, 8:00am - 1:00pm
  • EV, Hybrid, MOT and Diagnostic Training 
An excellent opportunity has arisen for a skilled Vehicle Technician to join a successful Main Dealer in Luton. The role offers a competitive salary, manufacturer-led training, and the chance to work within a modern, fully equipped workshop.

The Vehicle Technician will be responsible for carrying out routine servicing, repairs, and diagnostic work to a high standard, ensuring vehicles are safe, reliable, and maintained in line with manufacturer guidelines. Experience with vans and electric vehicles is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repair work on a range of vehicles.
  • Diagnose faults and undertake electrical and mechanical repairs.
  • Ensure all work is completed accurately, efficiently, and to manufacturer standards.
  • Road test vehicles and carry out final checks prior to handover.
  • Maintain accurate records of all work completed.
  • Participate in ongoing training, including EV, Hybrid, Diagnostic, and MOT courses.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 Vehicle Maintenance and Repair qualification (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience in a franchise dealership or independent workshop.
  • EV and/or van experience preferred, though training will be provided.
  • Strong technical and diagnostic skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
