We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Service Advisor to join our client's team in Poole, Dorset. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with experience in the motor trade who are looking to develop their career within a reputable dealership.

As a Service Advisor, you will be the primary point of contact for customers, ensuring a smooth and professional experience when booking in vehicles for maintenance and repairs. You will work closely with the workshop team to provide accurate and clear communication, delivering exceptional customer service at all times.

What's On Offer?
  • Basic salary of £27,000 per annum with potential earnings up to £36,000 OTE
  • Working hours from 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday
  • No regular Saturday work; Saturdays only when required and paid at overtime rates
  • 22 days holiday plus bank holidays, increasing after five years of service
  • Employee's birthday off to celebrate and enjoy additional time away from work
Duties as a Service Advisor will include:
  • Advising customers on vehicle repairs and maintenance needs
  • Managing the service booking process efficiently and professionally
  • Upselling necessary service and parts to maximise workshop productivity and customer satisfaction
  • Ensuring accurate recording and updating of service histories and customer details
  • Liaising with the workshop team to ensure timely completion of work and customer fulfilment
Requirements that the Service Advisor will need:
  • Previous experience as a Service Advisor within a motor dealership or independent garage
  • Excellent communication skills and a professional approach
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to build rapport with customers and team members
  • Knowledge of motor vehicle service processes and parts sales is desirable
