 Are you an experienced and skilled MET Technician seeking an exciting opportunity in Barnstaple?

Our client, a reputable and well-established Bodyshop and Accident Repair Centre, is looking to recruit a qualified MET Technician to join their dedicated team.

Duties of a MET Technician:
  • Conduct all mechanical and bodywork on allocated vehicle repairs
  • Perform dismantling, fault-finding, and diagnostic work
  • Re-assemble vehicles with new parts as required
  • Carry out inspections and testing to ensure quality standards
  • Identify faults or safety issues and recommend necessary repairs
  • Road test vehicles in a safe and legal manner to verify repairs and roadworthiness
Individual requirements:
  • Excellent attention to detail and quality awareness
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to effectively multi-task and manage priorities
  • Previous experience as a MET Technician or similar role
  • ATA qualification is advantageous but not essential
