  • Position: Parts Advisor
  • Location: Kettering 
  • Basic Salary: £28,000 + Bonus / Overtime 
  • On Target Earnings: £32,000
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00am - 5:30pm
  • 1 in 4 Saturday mornings 
  • Family-Run Main Dealership

Our client, a well-established family-run main dealer with over 20 years of success in the motor trade, is looking to recruit an experienced and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join their friendly and professional team in Kettering.

This is a standalone Parts Advisor position, giving the successful candidate the autonomy to take ownership of the department, make the role their own, and become a key part of the dealership's aftersales operation.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting retail and trade customers with parts enquiries.
  • Supplying parts to the workshop efficiently and accurately.
  • Ordering, receiving, and managing parts stock.
  • Processing invoices, returns, and warranty parts claims.
  • Maintaining strong levels of customer service and identifying additional sales opportunities where appropriate.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience as a Parts Advisor within the motor trade.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive parts and their applications.
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Good organisational and IT skills.
  • A self-motivated approach with the ability to work independently.
