Are you an experienced Workshop Technician looking to take the next step in your career?
Our client, a respected independent, is seeking a Lead Technician to head up their workshop and provide technical expertise across diagnostics, repairs, and MOT testing.
This is an excellent opportunity for a highly skilled technician who enjoys solving complex faults and leading by example in a busy workshop environment.

- Performing and overseeing MOT testing
- Acting as the workshop's lead technical expert
- Supporting and mentoring other technicians where required
- Ensuring work is completed efficiently and to manufacturer standards
- Assisting with complex technical issues and workshop operations
- Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair
- MOT Tester qualification
- Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding abilities
- Previous experience in a senior or lead technician position advantageous
- Main dealer experience beneficial
- A technician with stronger technical ability than the day-to-day workshop management team
- Full UK driving licence
