We are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Mobile HGV / Plant Engineer to join our client's expanding team. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional looking to work in a dynamic environment covering the South of England. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, experience with HGV or plant vehicle maintenance, and the flexibility to travel across various locations including Berkshire and nearby areas.

- A varied workload covering HGV and plant machinery, with a focus on road sweepers and other fleet vehicles
- Supportive team environment with a well-organised schedule
- 20 days holiday plus bank holidays
- Conduct maintenance and repairs on HGVs and plant equipment, including chassis and body side work
- Service a fleet of approximately 100 HGVs across the South East including the Berkshire area
- Perform inspections and diagnostics to identify faults and recommend repairs
- Carry out routine servicing in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
- Work on a range of vehicles including road sweepers and other specialised plant machinery
- Adhere to health and safety regulations at all times
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and ensure timely completion of work
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance and repairs
- Assist in the training of less experienced engineers where required
- Proven experience as a Mobile HGV / Plant Engineer or similar role
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems, hydraulics, and pneumatics
- Experience working on HGVs and plant equipment, ideally including road sweepers
- NVQ Level 3 in Plant Maintenance or equivalent qualification
- UK driving licence; HGV Class 2 licence is preferred but not essential if experience is demonstrated
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to work scheduled hours between early mornings and evenings, Monday to Friday, with one day every other weekend
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development
