Vehicle Technician Required in Mansfield
  • Salary: Up to £37,000 Basic Salary Depending on Experience
  • Working Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 5:30pm (1 Hour Lunch)

Our client, a well-established and family-run independent garage in Mansfield, is looking to recruit an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their close-knit workshop team. With a loyal customer base, an excellent local reputation, and a stable team of long-serving technicians, this opportunity has arisen due to retirement and offers excellent long-term job security.

Roles and Responsibilities as a Vehicle Technician:
  • Carry out servicing, maintenance, and repairs on a variety of vehicles
  • Diagnose faults and undertake mechanical repairs efficiently
  • Complete clutch, brake, suspension, and engine repair work
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and identify additional repair requirements
  • Ensure all work is completed to a high standard and within agreed timescales
  • Maintain accurate job records and workshop documentation
  • Work closely with fellow technicians to maintain workshop efficiency
What Our Client Expects from Their Vehicle Technicians:
  • NVQ / IMI Level 3 in Vehicle Maintenance and Repair or equivalent
  • Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
  • Experience carrying out servicing and repair work independently
  • MOT Licence desirable but not essential
  • Reliable and professional approach to work
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Full UK Driving Licence
