Diagnostic Vehicle Technician Required in Crawley for Car Dealer Group
Pay: £44,000 Basic DOE + Bonus and overtime 
Hours: 45 Hours per week Monday - Friday with Saturday mornings on a rota basis 
 

We are currently seeking an experienced and skilled Diagnostic Vehicle Technician to join a reputable car dealer group in Crawley, West Sussex. This is an excellent opportunity to advance your career within a dynamic and innovative environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, a passion for automotive diagnostics, and a desire to develop their skills further.

Duties

  • Conduct complex diagnostic, warranty, and repair work on a variety of vehicles
  • Carry out EV maintenance and hydraulic repairs as qualified
  • Utilise diagnostic software and tools to identify and resolve technical issues
  • Perform repairs safely and in line with manufacturer standards
  • Assist and mentor apprentice technicians to develop their skills
  • Maintain high standards of safety, quality, and efficiency in all tasks
  • Keep up-to-date with the latest automotive technologies and manufacturer updates
Candidate spec

  • Minimum Level 3 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance
  • Recognised diagnostic qualification
  • Previous experience as a Diagnostic Technician or similar role preferred
  • Strong teamwork and communication skills
  • Commitment to high standards of safety and quality
  • A proactive attitude with a desire to grow and develop within the automotive industry
  • Experience working with electrical and hybrid vehicles advantageous
