Pay: £34,000 Basic + Bonus (OTE £42,000) 
Hours: Monday - Friday 8 - 6, Saturdays on a Rota Basis

Service Advisor required in Guildford for a main car dealership. This is an exciting opportunity to join our client’s aftersales team, deliver a first-class customer experience, and help maximise workshop profitability through effective service planning and service sales.

Duties:
  • Welcome customers and their vehicles professionally, confirm requirements, and take full responsibility for the vehicle during the visit
  • Plan and schedule work to support a full workshop capacity and meet customer expectations
  • Monitor the flow of work into the workshop, liaising with workshop control to keep jobs moving to time
  • Ensure repair orders are raised, processed, and completed in line with established guidelines and standards
  • Keep customers fully informed on changes, including costs and expected completion times or dates
  • Manage accurate and timely invoicing, ensuring job extensions are properly authorised and recorded
  • Oversee vehicle presentation, including washing and vacuuming before handover
  • Provide a thorough vehicle handover, explaining invoices clearly and advising on future requirements
  • Take responsibility for subcontracted repairs, ensuring quality standards are met
  • Ensure warranty and goodwill authorisations are handled strictly in accordance with manufacturer guidelines
  • Maintain excellent housekeeping standards and support a safe working environment across front and back of house service areas
Requirements:
  • Proven experience in an aftersales environment, including customer-facing service support
  • Experience working as an Automotive Service Advisor is essential for this role
  • A strong record of maximising workshop profitability through effective scheduling and service sales
  • Confident communication skills with the ability to build rapport and manage expectations
  • Immaculate personal presentation and professionalism, aligned with a premium brand
  • Full UK driving licence
